*come online this morning and see my Shreeve portrait got fave spammed last night on tumblr and my art galleries*

Thanks everybody, really. :)

I can only assume the sudden attention is due to the info released yesterday about Shriek’s upcoming appearance in the comics. Happy to see other people are as excited about it as I am. Whether the story turns out good or bad, it is the fact he is being acknowledged and included that is important to me. It means new art of him to look forward to… plus the appearance may give me more insight into his technology, which I’m super excited for!

One thing is for sure, seeing the comic cover was just the thing I needed to get me re-ignited on my costume.  The last week had me a little down, but I’m back on the right wavelength now.

…so I wont be online too much the next couple of weeks, since I have to ride these inspiration waves hard while I have them.

Shreeve Sound’s micro-transmitter/receivers.
Probably the smallest prop I’ve made (at least that I’m able to recall). At times, I need belongings of a character around to keep me feeling connected and motivated while working on larger related projects.  It is such a boost to glance over to my work table and see these while constructing my sound suit.  I feel as if I’m almost there… in the lab… conducting research… learning… producing amazing results (as impractical as they my seem).
…
On a related note, my original plan for my posts about my completed props and sound suit was to write about them in an analytical scientific fashion, as if they were real inventions, presented by Walter Shreeve. Would anyone have interest in a science and technology focused rp/ask blog of this sort?

Finally can start on my Shriek sound suit.
Spent all morning cleaning out my work area, and I needed a material spread visual to re-energize me.
As a birthday gift, Sacredflamingheart provided me with the means to collect the last of the materials I required. Now to get to work (as he expects an impressive return on his investment. lol)

#my hair has not been this short since Batman Beyond originally aired
